You are God’s BELOVED…
“Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times,
and the strength of your salvation”

I am reading a Christian Classic Book that has been loved and read by many, and treasured for over thirty years. The author Frances J. Roberts writes loving encouragements in poetic meditations drawn from the Scriptures that truly brings strengthening comfort. Through this wonderful book “Come Away My Beloved”, I have found that every reading is an encounter with the timeless scriptural wisdom that satisfies my hunger and deepens my Christian walk. It has now become a daily companion together with my Holy Bible in my morning meditations. I am posting an excerpt for YOU from one of the beautiful chapter entitled “The CALL of LOVE” confirming…
You are LOVED by God and He speaks the WORDS you long to hear….
“O my BELOVED, abide under the shelter of the lattice for I have BETROTHED you to Myself, and though you are sometimes indifferent towards Me, My LOVE for you is at all times as a FLAME of FIRE. My ardor never cools. My longing for your LOVE and AFFECTION is deep and constant.
Tarry not for an opportunity to have more time to be alone with Me. Take it, though you leave the tasks at hand. Nothing will suffer. Things are of less importance than you think. Our time together is like a garden full of flowers, whereas the time you give to things is a field full of stubble.
I LOVE YOU, and if you can always, as if it were, feel My pulse beat, you will receive insight that I will give you sustaining strength. I bore your SINS and I wish to carry your BURDENS. You may take the GIFT of a light and merry HEART, for My LOVE dispels all fear and is a cure for every ill. Lay your head upon My breast and lose yourself in Me. You will experience RESURRECTION LIFE and PEACE; the JOY of the Lord will become your STRENGTH; and wells of SALVATION will be opened within you (see Song of Solomon 2:9-13)”

a PRAYER for our National Election Day…
With strong conviction in my heart to do my duty as a Citizen and a Christian the words of Samuel Adams & Charles Finney echoes in my head…
“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his VOTE that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual–or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.”

“The time has come that Christians must VOTE for honest men and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them. . . . Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But I tell you He does see it – and He will bless or curse this nation according to the course they [Christians] take [in politics].”

Today I went out to the voting polls in my designated precinct and I have expressed what is important to me and made my VOICE heard by VOTING. This is among the most precious rights and responsibilities I hold dear as a citizen in a democracy, it is “the RIGHT TO VOTE”, specifically the right to cast a secret ballot. We are indeed fortunate to have been blessed to live in a country where we have a say in choosing the leader whom we want to seat in our local and national government. We ought to guard and value this GIFT!
Let us join our HEARTS together in PRAYER for our beloved country. Heavenly Father, we humbly come before Your Holy Throne and pray that You will PROTECT the SANCTITY of each of the VOTES that we have casts today, we pray that each one will be COUNTED so that truly the VOICE of the PEOPLE will not be taken for granted and we will not be robbed of the GOOD GOVERNMENT with GOOD LEADERS that our country deserves. This we pray in Jesus precious name. Amen.

A mom is God’s LOVE in action. She looks with her heart and feels with her eyes. A mom is a BANK where her children deposit all their worries and hurt and withdraws strength and love. A mom is very SPECIAL. She is hard working and takes care of everybody’s need before her. A mom is the CEMENT that keeps the family together and her LOVE lasts a LIFETIME.
Today I whisper a PRAYER for ALL the WONDERFUL MOTHERS…may the BEAUTY of God’s SPIRIT be so evident in each moms and may you be abundantly filled with God’s GIFTS of wisdom, guidance, strength and patience, along with a generous portion of God’s LOVE flowing through you to enable you to nurture and care for your family…and be the BEST MOM that God has CREATED you to be! May our Lord bless you with good health, a great mood, happy moments and God’s EMBRACE on this special day and in the years to come!
