When your FRIEND seems DISTANT…
FRIENDSHIPS are often tested by SEPARATION & SILENCE
when you are divided by physical DISTANCE & you are unable to TALK
with each other…FRIENDSHIPS involves times of CLOSENESS & times
of DISTANCE…these are some things you must go through to mature your
FRIENDSHIP…you have to learn to TRUST each other in the absence of
confirming circumstances…and HOLD on to GOD…and not on your
FEELINGS…to keep you TOGETHER…you have to put your FAITH in
GOD and allow your FRIENDSHIP to be centered & focused on our Lord
JESUS CHRIST…surrendering completely to Him so that your
FRIENDSHIP will remain and last this lifetime and beyond…
until eternity… then you will be FRIENDS FOREVER!
FRIENDS of Christ and FRIENDS in Christ….

To WALK SLOWLY with HIM….
What a WONDERFUL CHAT I had with my FRIEND last night
So filled with the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT
It is so FIRST TIME for us….
FINALLY beginning to LEARN IT
To truly WALK in the SPIRIT as FRIENDS
THANK YOU Lord Jesus for being PATIENT with US
THANK YOU Lord Jesus for not GIVING UP on US
THANK YOU Lord Jesus for giving US a 2nd CHANCE, 3rd.. & so on…
THANK YOU Lord Jesus for Your GRACE abounds in US
THANK YOU Lord Jesus for when we are WEAK we are STRONG in YOU
What a WONDERFUL TEACHING that the
Lord has TAUGHT through my FRIEND
when he shared to me the ONE THING that
God WANTS to TEACH US…
To WALK SLOWLY with HIM….
that GROWING is a SLOW PROCESS….
and the BIBLE did not say RUN with God….
we should be WALKING with God side by side
with Him & not getting ahead of Him…
This WEEK is going to be a WEEK FOCUSED on HIM
and LISTENING to HIM…it will be ALL about HIM!
I am EXCITED to WALK SLOWLY with HIM
I am EXCITED to GROW in God’s GRACE with HIM
I am EXCITED to SEE my CHARACTER becoming CHISTLIKE
I am EXCITED to FOLLOW the Holy Spirit’s LEADERSHIP
ALL praises & glory & honor belong to you Oh Lord JESUS!

Are you really SORRY after a FIGHT?
You were YELLING at me
Calling below-the-belt NAMES
to what I just did…did you really mean them?
Will you TREAT me in that manner at times
when I do some things you DISLIKE?
I cannot FIGHT you
I will not FIGHT you
I stand DEFENSELESS with you
I am VULNERABLE against you
You have the CAPACITY to HURT me
You are much STRONGER in so many ways
Your WORDS matters to me
Your WORDS have the POWER to HURT me
because you are IMPORTANT to me
and what you will SAY about me have WEIGHT.
Some WORDS might not mean a thing
to you but can be OFFENSIVE for me…
I hope we can meet HALF-WAY on this
and you can be more understanding
as I am learning to adjust myself to you too
I am willing for us to reach a COMPROMISE.
I cannot LIKEN the BAD things you do
to WORDS that will be DEGRADING you
It’s not just like me..that’s not the way I am!
I will still try my very BEST to RESPECT you
even in our most HEATED ARGUMENT and
not SAY any WORD to you that I might REGRET
You DESERVE to be RESPECTED.
Do you really CARE for me?
Will you really PROTECT me?
Or will you cause me PAIN or HEARTACHE?
It’s NO JOKE to speak like that to your FRIEND
I am SERIOUS in saying that I felt a SLASH STUB
in my HEART when you said those WORDS to me….
You HURT me BIGTIME this TIME!
Are you really SORRY?
Please DON’T do it again…
